Dr. Benito Salvatierra Bellido is a senior technical specialist at IFAPA with extensive experience in irrigation advice and agricultural water management. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Seville and has advanced academic training in agri-food systems, irrigation, drainage, and agricultural business management.
Since 1999, he has worked on irrigation development and innovation in Andalusia, collaborating with public institutions and research organizations. His work focuses on improving irrigation and fertilization efficiency, reducing water and fertilizer consumption, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices through research projects and international cooperation initiatives.
