Amon Rutikanga is an academic and project team member at the University of Technology & Arts of Byumba with experience in higher education development, sustainability-oriented initiatives, and institutional collaboration. His work supports teaching, training coordination, and project implementation activities that align academic programmes with regional development priorities and sustainable resource management goals.

Within the NISHATI Project, Amon Rutikanga contributes to academic engagement, coordination of training activities, and collaboration among partner institutions. He supports the integration of sustainability concepts into curricula and participates in joint initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, knowledge exchange, and skills development.

His professional interests include sustainable development, higher education innovation, curriculum enhancement, and community-oriented academic engagement. Through his involvement in NISHATI, he contributes to advancing inclusive education, green skills development, and long-term institutional impact in Rwanda and the wider East African region.
