Rachel Bayisenge is an academic and project team member at the Catholic University of Rwanda with experience in higher education development, sustainability-focused training, and institutional collaboration. Her work supports teaching, research, and capacity-building initiatives that respond to regional priorities in sustainable development and skills enhancement.
Within the NISHATI Project, Rachel Bayisenge contributes to project implementation, coordination of training activities, and academic engagement at institutional level. She supports the integration of sustainability principles into curricula and participates in collaborative initiatives that strengthen knowledge exchange and institutional capacity among partner universities.
Her professional interests include sustainable development, curriculum innovation, gender-responsive education, and community-oriented academic engagement. Through her involvement in NISHATI, she contributes to advancing inclusive, practice-oriented education and strengthening institutional impact in Rwanda and the wider East African region.
