Uganda has abundant energy resources, which include hydropower, biomass, solar energy, geothermal energy, peat energy, and wind energy.

In Tanzania only 42,74% of the population has access to electricity (World Bank – 2021), while the renewable energy potential is huge and could dramatically accelerate Tanzanian energy transition to a renewable electrical system, carbon neutral and accessible to all the population.

The Rwanda’s long term green growth and climate resilient strategy is intended to bring about mindset and developmental transformation in Rwandan society that is necessary to achieve the desired carbon-neutral and climate resilient economy
