This training session is part of the NISHATI seminar series on Sustainability Strategies and focuses on key criteria for sustainable mobility, with practical insights drawn from electric mobility projects implemented in Burkina Faso and Mali. The presentation highlights how sustainable transport solutions can be designed, assessed, and scaled within developing and emerging contexts.

The session explores economic, technological, and safety considerations in sustainable mobility planning, including electric and shared mobility, transport infrastructure, and policy-driven decision-making. Participants gain an understanding of how real-world mobility projects contribute to reduced environmental impacts, improved road safety, and inclusive transport systems.

This training is particularly relevant for academics, researchers, planners, and policymakers working in transport, sustainability, and climate-resilient development.
