Dr. Daria Prandstraller is the coordinator of the Waste Technical Unit (Nu.Te.R.) at the University of Bologna, a role she has held since 2010. Her work focuses on the safe and sustainable management of hazardous waste produced in university research and teaching laboratories across multiple locations.

She was a founding contributor and coordinator of the Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS) Resources and Waste Working Group, supporting the promotion of sustainability culture within and beyond universities. Dr. Prandstraller holds a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Padua and has authored scientific publications in materials science, cultural heritage conservation, and waste management. Her expertise combines academic research, institutional leadership, and sustainability advocacy.
