The NISHATI Project continues to strengthen academic collaboration and technical expertise across East Africa through partner-led capacity-building initiatives. As part of this ongoing effort, a delegation from the University of Cádiz (UCA), Spain, conducted a series of impactful training sessions with Tanzanian partner institutions.
The UCA team worked closely with faculty and staff at Mzumbe University and Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), delivering targeted training that supports NISHATI’s core objectives in eco-agriculture, water management, and renewable energy. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and knowledge exchange focused on enhancing institutional capacity and aligning academic programs with sustainable development priorities.
These sessions provided valuable opportunities for cross-regional learning, strengthening connections between European and African partners while contributing to the development of modern, practice-oriented teaching approaches. The presence of UCA experts underscores the consortium’s commitment to building resilient and innovative higher education systems across the project’s target countries.
The NISHATI Project remains dedicated to fostering skills development, promoting green technologies, and supporting institutions as they prepare students and communities for a sustainable future.
