Flavio Andreoli Concludes Successful Training Sessions at Sokoine and Mzumbe Universities in Tanzania

The NISHATI Project has continued to advance its goal of strengthening institutional capacity across East Africa through targeted technical trainings. As part of this effort, Flavio Andreoli, CEO of Hydrowatt Spa and a key industry partner in the project, successfully delivered a series of trainings in Tanzania.

Flavio conducted hands-on training sessions at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and Mzumbe University, focusing on renewable energy applications, sustainable resource management, and practical approaches to integrating green technologies within academic and operational systems. The sessions engaged faculty members, technical staff, and students in discussions and demonstrations centered on sustainable development challenges and opportunities.

Through his expertise in hydropower and renewable energy innovations, Flavio provided valuable insights that support the NISHATI Project’s mission of empowering partner institutions to respond to regional needs in eco-agriculture, water management, and clean energy. His training not only enhanced the technical skills of participants but also strengthened collaboration between European and African partners under the project.

These training activities are a significant contribution to the project’s ongoing efforts to promote climate resilience, sustainable growth, and green skills development across the region.
